Two arrested in Wexford after €700,000 worth of cannabis found in van

The two men can now be detained at Enniscorthy Garda Station for up to seven days.

GARDAÍ HAVE SEIZED drugs worth €700,000 and arrested two men in an operation in Wexford today.

The cannabis herb with an estimated value of €700,000 was discovered when gardaí searched a van at Ballymurn near Eniscorthy this morning. The search was carried out as part of an ongoing investigation targeting the supply and distribution of drugs in the area.

Two men – one in his 30s and the other in his 50s – were arrested at the scene. They are currently detained at Enniscorthy Garda Station where they can be held for up to seven days.
