Car burst into flames at Limerick petrol station

Limerick fire service said a speedy response prevented a larger incident.

A CAR BURST into flames at a petrol station in Limerick yesterday evening.

Gardaí said the driver noticed smoke coming out of the bonnet and got out of the car before it went on fire.

Limerick fire service said a speedy response prevented a larger incident.

It happened at Amber Service Station on the Old Cork Road.

No injuries were reported.
