Four people injured after car crashes into house and catches fire

One man who was inside the house has “severe lower limb injuries”.

FOUR PEOPLE HAVE been taken to hospital with injuries after a car crashed into the side of a house in York, England.

North Yorkshire Fire and Rescue said one man has ”severe lower limb injuries”. He was in the living room of the house when the car crashed into the wall.

His wife and young child were unhurt.

Three people were inside the Volkswagen Golf when it crashed – all have been taken to hospital with head injuries. The car subsequently caught fire.

The incident happened at around 1.30am today. Emergency services attended the scene and brought the fire under control.
