TWO CARS WERE damaged in a fire in Dublin city centre early this morning.

The fire at St Joseph’s Court, Stoneybatter comes after three cars and a house were damaged in a fire just minutes away in Palatine Square yesterday morning.

The Garda Press Office told TheJournal.ie, “Gardaí at Bridewell are investigating criminal damage by fire on two cars at St Josephs Court, Stoneybatter, Dublin 7.”

It happened at around 3.50am and residents were evacuated as a precaution. Nobody was injured in the incident.

Gardai also stated that the cars were towed away for a technical examination.
