Gardaí charge 19-year-old over cash-in-transit van robbery

The man is due to appear before a court in Dublin this afternoon.

A 19-YEAR-OLD has been charged as part of an investigation into a cash-in-transit robbery

The incident happened on La Touche Road, Bluebell in Dublin 12 on Thursday.

The man is set to appear before Dublin District Court in the Criminal Court of Justice this afternoon.

He was arrested shortly after midnight on Friday morning on Francis Street in Dublin.

The car he had been driving was stopped and a sum of money was discovered.

He had been detained under the Criminal Justice Act at Kevin Street Garda Station.

It is understood that there are other suspects in the case.
