CCTV footage places missing woman Margaret Mangan 7km from home

The 65-year-old has been missing since Tuesday morning, when she left her home in Terenure, Dublin, to walk her dog.

CCTV FOOTAGE OF missing Dublin woman Margaret Mangan has placed her less than 7km from home.

The footage, released by gardaí, shows the 65-year-old, who suffers from Alzheimers, walking with her dog in the Glasnevin area on day she went missing.

‘Peggy’, as she is known by friends and family, left her home at Mount Tallant avenue, Terenure with her King Charles Cavalier at 11am on Tuesday morning but failed to return home.

This new footage, posted on the An Garda Síochána Facebook page, shows the woman walking with the dog, across the road from a well-known bridal store in the Glasnevin area.

There have been a number of sightings of her since then and actor Brendan O’Carroll made an appeal to the public yesterday after it emerged she had been spotted at the location of a scene he was shooting in Glasnevin for Mrs Brown’s Boys.

It is believed that Peggy might have stopped to talk to one of the crew members on set.

The missing woman is 5’ 2” in height and of slight build. When last seen she was wearing a white jacket and black trousers, as seen in the CCTV footage.
