Boy (4) dies after accident at his parents' brewery

The incident happened yesterday.

A YOUNG BOY died after a tragic accident at a brewery in Lisburn, Co Antrim yesterday.

He was named as Oliver Scullion (4), the son of the owners of the Hilden Brewery, the BBC said.

The brewery was established by Ann and Seamus Scullin in 1981.

In a statement yesterday evening, Northern Ireland’s Health and Safety Executive said:

HSE NI has been notified of the death of a young child at a commercial premises in the Lisburn area and is investigating the circumstances.
We are unable to comment further at this stage except to offer our deepest sympathy to the family.

The Hilden Brewery is based on Grand Street, close to the River Lagan.
