Enda Kenny meets IMF chief Christine Lagarde in Dublin

Lagarde will mark International Women’s Day by hosting a lunch in Dublin.

INTERNATIONAL MONETARY FUND chief Christine Lagarde is in Dublin this morning to meet Taoiseach Enda Kenny.

She will also meet the Tánaiste Eamon Gilmore during the brief visit.

The head of the IMF has already arrived at Government Buildings on Kildare Street.

She is currently on a European tour and later today will make an address to the Institute of European Affairs. Also on her itinerary is a trip to the regulators in the Central Bank and a lunch to mark International Women’s Day.

A press conference will be held at 9.20am to brief reporters on the meetings. Finance Minister Michael Noonan will also attend.
