Poll: When should the Christmas decorations go up?

What happens in your household? What’s the correct thing to do?

DUBLIN SWITCHED ON its lights last night, while Cork and Belfast are gearing up for their first official Christmas celebrations tonight and tomorrow.

However, many people believe it is too early to start thinking about Santa, reindeer and trees – sure Americans haven’t even bought their Thanksgiving turkeys yet.

What happens in your household? What’s the correct thing to do? In today’s poll, we ask: When should the Christmas decorations go up?

Poll Results:

On/just after the 8 December (5078)
Christmas week (4242)
1 December (1710)
Bah humbug (894)
Anytime in November (306)
