One lucky Tipperary person just got a €1 million New Year's boost

It’s all thanks to a raffle ticket.

SOMEONE WOKE UP €1 million richer today after scooping a top prize in the National Lottery Christmas Millionaire Raffle.

There were 350,000 tickets on sale, and they cost €20 each.

Last night, a winning ticket worth €1 million, a winning ticket worth €250,000 and four winning tickets worth €100,000 each were drawn.

Christmas Millionaire Raffle ticket number 098 211 won the top prize of €1 million. It was bought in the Amber Service Station, Bansha Road in Tipperary town.

Christmas Millionaire Raffle ticket number 168 339 won €250,000 – this ticket was sold in Bray, Co Wicklow.

All 350,000 tickets in the 2015 Christmas Millionaire Raffle game sold out just before the 8pm close of play on New Year’s Eve.
