Keane was shot several times in a University of Limerick car park last year.

THREE MEN HAVE been arrested in connection with the attempted murder of convicted drug dealer Christy Keane last year.

Keane (55) was shot a number of times as he parked his car on the grounds of the University of Limerick at around 6.35am on 29 June, 2015.

The brother of murdered criminal gang boss Kieran Keane managed to flee but was left seriously injured.
