City centre knife attack leaves man with face injuries

The incident occurred close to Trinity College in the early hours of this morning.

GARDAÍ ARE INVESTIGATING an assault on a man in the early hours of this morning in Dublin city centre.

The incident, which took place on College Green, left the 21-year-old man with non-life threatening facial injuries, understood to have been caused by a knife.

No arrests have been made.

Witnesses are asked to contact Pearse Street Garda Station on 01 6669000, the Garda Confidential Line on 1800 666 111, or any Garda station.
