Man dies and four others injured as van crashes in Co Down

The crash happened last night on the Ballywalter to Greyabbey road.

A 25-YEAR-OLD man from Bangor has died after a single vehicle road crash in Co Down last night.

Adam Barbour was in the the front passenger seat of a Renault Traffic van that crashed on the B5 Ballywalter to Greyabbey Road at about 7.20 pm last night.

Four other men were also in the van at the time of the crash and were taken to a nearby hospital but their injuries are not thought to be life threatening.

No other vehicles were involved in the collision and the road remained closed throughout last night and this morning.

The PSNI are appealing for anyone with information on the crash to contact them though their non-emergency numbers.
