Here’s all the traffic, transport and weather news you need this morning.

GOOD MORNING AND welcome to Friday’s commuting liveblog.

It’s Órla Ryan here.

I’ll be with you until 9am with all the latest traffic, travel and weather info to get you safely to where you need to go.

There are sleet and snow showers in many parts of the country this morning, and between one and 3cm are expected in some areas, especially on higher ground.

AA Roadwatch has this to say about weather conditions this morning: There is frost and ice in Letterkenny, Sligo town, Castlebar, Roscommon town and Longford town. It’s also quite frosty in Portlaoise and Waterford city.

Intermittent snow showers are affecting visibility in Drogheda, Navan, Naas, Celbridge, Leixlip and Cavan town.

Motorists should slow down and leave more time to reach their destination. Make sure to give yourself plenty of time to de-ice your car.

It’s not like she needs to do it because she’s not selling enough records. Her latest album was the fastest selling album in 12 years

Spotify should just sign the artists directly and cut out the record labels.

I wonder if Taylor Swift will make more money since she removed her music from Spotify. Will it make any difference at all even?
