Man injured in Cork crash passes away

The man was seriously injured in a single car collision on Sunday morning.

A MAN IN his early 30s who was seriously injured in a road crash in Bantry, Co Cork, at the weekend has died.

The man was injured in the single car collision at Bridge Street at around 4am on Sunday.

He was taken to Bantry General Hospital where he remained in a serious condition until he passed away at midday today.

Investigating Gardaí are renewing their appeal for information in relation to this collision. Witnesses are asked to contact Bantry Garda Station on 027-20860, the Garda Confidential Line 1800-666-111 or any garda station.
