Man arrested over woman's death in Cork house fire

The woman’s body was discovered after a fire at a house in Passage West was put out in the early hours of yesterday morning.

A MAN HAS been arrested following the death of a woman in a house fire in Cork in the early hours of yesterday morning.

The man in his 30s was arrested late last night and is currently being detained at Togher Garda station.

The fire broke out at Pembroke Crescent in Passage West at 1.30am yesterday morning.

Firefighters later discovered the body of a 36-year-old woman in the house.
