Man to appear in court this morning in connection with fatal Artane stabbing

A MAN IN his 40s is to appear in court in Dublin this morning charged in connection with the fatal stabbing of a father-of-three in Dublin on Thursday.

Mark Richardson suffered a number of stab wounds at his home on Harmonstown Road in Artane on the evening of 16 March. He was removed to nearby Beaumont Hospital where he was pronounced dead a short time later.

The man who is set to appear before the Criminal Courts of Justice this morning had been socialising with the deceased prior to the incident.

The house was sealed off and preserved for a technical examination.

Investigations are ongoing.
