Two due in Dublin court over €650,000 heroin seizure

A third man who was also arrested over the seizure has been released without charge.

TWO MEN ARE due to appear at Dublin District Court today charged in connection with a drug seizure.

The charges related to the seizure of a large quantity of herion, with an estimated value of €650,000 on Wednesday evening. Three men in their 30 were arrested and “various drug paraphernalia”, including a hydraulic press, bagging materials and scales, were also seized.

One of the men arrested was released without charge and a file will be sent to the Director of Public Prosecutions.

The other two will appear at a special sitting of Dublin District Court at the Criminal Courts of Justice on Parkgate Street this morning.
