Craig Hanlon was left in critical condition after falling more than 20 feet through the roof of a Dublin 8 building.

The Dublin Fire Brigade attended the scene at Basin Lane before he was taken by ambulance to St James’s Hospital.

The Fountain Resource Group, which runs the centre, described him as “a very popular young man … adored by all his friends”.

Many flowers and cards have been placed at a shrine erected in his memory, the organisation said.

A message on one card reads: You have many of hearts broken. The whole area will miss you, Happy Head. We will never forget you. Love you always.”
