21-year-old killed, two others injured - after car crashes into bollard in Donegal

The crash happened at around 11.30pm last night.

A 21-YEAR-OLD has been killed and two other young men have been injured after a car crashed into a bollard in Co Donegal last night.

The crash happened at around 11.30pm on the Burnfoot to Buncrana road, at Carnashannagh.

The man who died was a passenger in the car, and was pronounced dead at the scene.

His body has been removed to the morgue at Letterkenny General Hospital.

The driver (18) and another passenger (21) have also been taken to hospital in Letterkenny. Their injuries are described as not life-threatening.

A stretch of the road is expected to stay closed until lunchtime as forensic tests take place.
