Motorcyclist killed in late night Dublin bus crash

The collision happened last night at Constitution Hill in the city.

A 38-YEAR-OLD man has died after the motorbike he was driving collided with a bus in Dublin city last night.

The crash happened at Constitution Hill in the north inner city at about 11.30pm.

The motorcyclist was taken to the nearby Mater Hospital where he was pronounced dead. Nobody else was injured in the collision.

The road was closed for a period to allow for investigations but has since reopened.

Any witnesses to the collision are being asked to contact gardaí.
