Man in his 20s killed after being hit by van in Limerick

The man was pronounced dead at the scene. The crash happened at around 3.30am.
A MAN IN his 20s has died after being struck by a van near Rathkeale in Co Limerick.
It happened at around 3.30am at Blossomhill, on the N21 between Croagh and Rathkeale.
The man was pronounced dead at the scene.
The two occupants of the van – a man and woman, both in their 20s – were uninjured.
The road will stay closed until at least lunchtime as forensic tests are carried out.
Gardaí at Newcastle West are investigating, and can be contacted on 069 20650.
