One man dead as car carrying three people crashes off the road in Meath

The collision happened at Cornelstown in the early hours of the morning.

ONE MAN HAS died after a car carrying three people left the road in Co Meath early this morning.

The crash happened at Cornelstown in the early hours of this morning with the deceased man described by gardaí as being in his 20s.

He was pronounced dead at the scene before his body was removed to Navan Hospital.

The driver of the car and another passenger received non-life threatening injuries in the collision.

The road is currently closed and gardaí are asking for witnesses to contact them at Ashbourne Garda Station on 01 8010600.
