Tipperary teenager killed in two-car collision

The 17-year-old was travelling in one of the vehicles which collided at Grange Cross on Saturday evening.

A 17-YEAR-OLD BOY from Co Tipperary has died after being seriously injured in a two-car collision on Saturday evening.

The collision occurred at Grange Cross on the Tipperary Road at around 9pm on 9 June.

A number of people were injured in the crash and were taken to hospital for treatment. One of the passengers, 17-year-old Ciaran Quigley from Rearcross passed away yesterday from injuries sustained in the collision.

Gardaí are appealing to anyone who may have witnessed the collision to contact Roxboro Road Garda Station on 061 214347, the Garda Confidential Line 1800 666 111, or any garda station.
