Pics: A record-setting day for Dublin - as monster cruise liner 'Splendida' sails in

The 333 metre vessel is the longest ever to arrive at Dublin Port – and had to reverse in this morning.

AMATEUR (AND PROFESSIONAL) photographers were out in force early this morning – to watch the MSC Splendida arrive into Dublin Port.

The 333 metre vessel is the longest ever to arrive at the facility.

She’s so big, in fact, that she isn’t able to turn around inside the port. The captain reversed in this morning.

(For more on the ship – check out this story from last week).
