IT HAS FINALLY arrived – Culture Night!

Tonight, hundreds of thousands of us take to the streets of our cities and towns to explore the plethora of events specially put on for this exciting event.

We’ve already covered Dublin city, Cork City and County, the West coast, the Midlands, and most of the counties in the north of the island.

Today we look at the final parts of the country.

Dún-Laoghaire Rathdown

In its first year of Culture Night, this is a chance to see the DLR Lexicon library in its glory before its official opening.

  • From 9pm, the Teresa Brayton Enfield Comhaltas branch will play some tunes outside, and then hold a session at the Bridge House in Enfield.

Waterford

  • Young people of all ages are invited to The Arch for workshops on the likes of drama, film, and creative writing.
  • Families and their smallies will find lots to entertain them from 10am at Central Library.
  • A dance music event run by RePublik Music will hosted at Blackfriars Church.
  • Into technology? Meet the makers at South East Makerspace from 6pm.
  • Find out about Vikings, medieval times and Georgian Ireland at Waterford Treasures.
