MAGDALENA LUCZAK, THE Polish woman who starved and murdered her four-year-old son Daniel in 2012, has died in prison.

The UK Ministry of Justice confirmed her death in a statement.

She was found unresponsive in her cell at Foston Hall Prison, Derby at 7.15am this morning.

Luczak (29), along with her partner Mariusz Krezolek (35), were found guilty of Daniel’s murder in July 2013. Both were serving life sentences.

Daniel had been starved and beaten for some time before dying from a head injury in March 2012.

Both Luczak and Krezolek (who was not Daniel’s father) denied his murder and blamed the other.

Daniel weighed just over a stone and a half when he died.

He was routinely subjected to starvation, confined in a locked room, and force-fed salt when he misbehaved.

The judge in his mother and her partner’s murder trial described Daniel’s ordeal as “incomprehensible cruelty” according to the BBC.
