There were major rush hour rail problems in Dublin tonight

ALL Dart and commuter services were suspended between Drogheda and Greystones — but delays are now easing.

IRISH RAIL SAYS delays on the main rail line between Greystones and Drogheda are now easing, after problems earlier.

All DART and commuter services were stopped on the line earlier this evening, due to a major signal fault.

According to the company:

Iarnród Éireann advises customers that a signal fault affecting the Drogheda to Greystones area has been rectified, and train services have resumed

“However, delays of 30-40 minutes to rail services across this area remain, but these delays will ease.

“We apologise to customers for the inconvenience caused.”
