Dart delays after 'medical emergency' on board morning service

The incident happened on the 7.30am service to Malahide.

DART SERVICES IN Dublin are delayed this morning following what Iarnród Éireann described as a “medical emergency” on board one of its services.

A passenger fell ill at Blackrock station this morning and an ambulance was called.

The person, who was travelling on the 7.30am service from Greystones to Malahide, was then removed to hospital and is receiving treatment.

Irish Rail said that there are 25 minute delays to services as a result of the incident in both directions.
