DART DRIVERS ARE set to go on strike over Irish Rail’s plans to introduce new rosters for a 10 minute service at the company.
A spokesperson for Siptu told TheJournal.ie that its members voted unanimously in favour of the action.
Siptu organiser Paul Cullen said,“Our members see the introduction of a 10 minute DART service as an issue which should be an integral part of discussions on increasing productivity.
Introducing these rosters in April, as management is threatening, would be seen by our members as a deeply unfortunate and provocative move.
Meanwhile, Luas drivers – who are seeking pay increases of between 8% and 53% - are set to strike on Easter Sunday and Monday.
They have taken four days action already this year and will go on strike again next Tuesday and on St Patrick’s Day.

Seems rather unchristian. Donnybrook church is worse as people park on the duel carriage way and not one clamp. They probably speak Irish – is that the trick or have the Clampers been told to clamp Muslims?
