Daughter of Celine Cawley takes legal action against dad

The 18-year-old has joined her aunt and uncle in legal proceedings against Eamon Lillis.

THE DAUGHTER OF murdered Celine Cawley and convicted killer Eamon Lillis is taking legal action against her father.

RTÉ reports that 18-year-old Georgia Lillis has been made a plaintiff in a case being taken to remove his entitlements to any of the assets he and Celine had shared.

The case was originally taken by Celine’s brother and sister but Georgia asked to become involved so she could address allegations her father had made in the past.

Lawyers for Eamon Lillis opposed Georgia joining the case and said that there was still a realationship between father and daughter.

Last February Lillis was sentenced to six years and 11 months for the manslaughter of Celine, who was killed at their home in Howth in December 2008.
