Gardaí investigate tragic death of toddler at Wexford creche

The death is not believed to be suspicious.

GARDAÍ ARE INVESTIGATING the tragic death of a child in a creche in a Wexford village.

The child, who is believed to be aged 19 months, died suddenly on Tuesday afternoon.

Gardaí said that they are investigating the case for the coroner’s inquest.

It is not believed the incident was suspicious.

After the investigation is concluded, a file will be sent to the coroner.

The Irish Independent says that the baby died in a Montessori in the village of Castlebridge.
