Poll: Should a degree have a different weight depending on where it's from?

The Dublin Web Summit is giving different credits to degrees from different institutions. Do you agree with this?

THE DUBLIN WEB Summit is hiring 40 new staff ahead of its November event but it’s not giving equal credits to degrees from different third-level institutions.

They will only look at applicants who received 1st class honours from UCD, UCC, NUIG, DCU, UL or Maynooth, though anyone with a 2.1 from Trinity will be considered. If you’re coming from an institute of technology, you’ll need a Masters.

So we want to know, Do you think a degree should have a different weight depending on where it’s from?
