POLICE IN NORTHERN Ireland have released new images of men they wish to speak to in connection with Conall Kerrigan’s wallet being stolen.

The 25-year-old was found dead last month after falling from the city walls in Derry.

A post mortem has led police to believe that his death was “not the result of a crime”.

However, they wish to speak with two men (pictured above) spotted on CCTV in connection with Kerrigan’s wallet being stolen as he sat on the walls.

“Newly viewed footage has been able to assist us in establishing that Conall was sitting on the walls at around 2:34am,” Detective Inspector Conor McStarvick said.

We know that a number of people passed Conall. We believe that two of them stole his wallet. It was recovered by police during an extensive search.

“It may be they are from elsewhere in Northern Ireland or indeed from across the border,” he added.

The alarm was raised over Kerrigan’s whereabouts after he failed to return home following a night out in Derry last month.

His body was discovered the following night.

The young man’s GAA club Claudy John Mitchel’s has paid tribute to him describing him as a “huge character, full of craic and a good friend”.
