Device found at Tallaght home

Gardaí received a call past midnight last night saying that the device was located outside a home in the Dunamore Park area.

A DEVICE WAS found at a house in Tallaght in the early hours of this morning.

Gardaí confirmed that they arrived on the scene at 12.45am today after receiving a phone call that a device was located at a house in Dunmore Park in Tallaght.

The Defence Forces, which runs the bomb disposal unit, was contacted and the device was removed for examination.

The device was found outside of the home.

There was no one injured in the incident and gardaí are now investigating.
