Body of man recovered from Donegal river

Gardaí said the results of a post mortem – due to take place today – will determine the direction of the investigation.

GARDAÍ ARE AWAITING the results of a post mortem on the body of a man which was discovered in Donegal yesterday.

The man’s body was recovered from a river near Bridgend yesterday afternoon and gardaí in Buncrana are investigating his death.

His body was removed to Letterkenny General Hospital where a post mortem will be carried out this morning.

The identity of the man has not been confirmed. This morning gardaí said the results of the post mortem will determine the direction of the investigation and right now all circumstances are being investigated.
