Donegal man, 20, killed in Florida road crash

Patrick Lynch from Convoy was killed early on Monday, July 29, when the car he was driving hit a signpost in Florida.

THE BODY OF a 20-year-old Donegal man has been flown home after he was killed in a road crash in the United States.

Patrick Lynch from Townparks, Convoy was killed early on Monday morning, July 29, when the car he was driving hit a grass shoulder and then collided with a signpost in Florida.

The incident happened at around 3.45am, according to local news site Bay News 9, on Cortez Boulevard near Shoal Line Boulevard.

His body has been returned home and will be reposing at his uncle Brian Lynch’s home in Milltown, Convoy until removal on Friday morning to St. Mary’s Church, Convoy for funeral mass at 11am.
