A man in his 40s has died in a house fire in Co Donegal

Gardaí are investigating.

GARDAÍ ARE INVESTIGATING the cause of a fire at a house in Co Donegal last night in which a man in his 40s has died.

Shortly after midnight, emergency services responded to calls about a fire at the house in Carnmalin, Malin Head.

The man was pronounced dead at the scene, and the house was completely destroyed.

Noone else was present in the house at the time of the fire.

The scene has been sealed off for a technical examination, and Gardaí are investigating the cause of the blaze.
