Double shooting in Derry

Two men were injured in a double shooting in Co Derry’s Bogside area last night. Their injuries are not thought to be life-threatening.

POLICE IN DERRY are investigation a double-shooting which took place last night.

The PSNI said that police received a report at 11pm last night of shots fired in the Bogside area.

They discovered two males who had been shot a number of times. Both men were sent to hospital for treatment.

Their injuries are not thought to be life-threatening.

Police are appealing for witnesses or anyone with information on the shooting to contact them on 0854 600 8000 or if they would like to give information anonymously, to phone the independent charity Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
