Watch: Drone footage of the Dublin mountains carpeted with a layer of fresh fluffy snow

White as far as the eye can see.

THE FIRST WIDESPREAD snow of the year coated parts of Leinster last night as temperatures dropped below freezing.

The snow on high on the Dublin and Wicklow mountains led to the Sally Gap being closed to traffic, but it seems some ignored the advice.

This drone footage from Skycam Ireland has captured the fresh blanket of snow that’s coated the area on the Wicklow/Dublin border along the Military Road.

Looks beautiful, but also cold. Especially for these brave souls.
