Gardaí root out Limerick drugs factory, seize ecstasy worth €150k

In a follow-up search, cannabis herb to the value of €50,000 was seized in an apartment.

GARDAÍ HAVE UNCOVERED a drugs factory in Bruff Co. Limerick and seized ecstasy tablets valued at €150,000.

Two men both aged in their early 20s were arrested at the scene after local gardaí supported by the Divisional Drugs Unit searched the house in the Murroe area at about 7pm yesterday.

In a follow-up search yesterday evening in Limerick city, cannabis herb to the value of €50,000 was seized in an apartment.

Another man in his 2os was arrested at the scene of the later seizure with all three being held in Henry Street Garda Station under drugs offences.
