Teenager stopped by gardaí had €150,000 worth of cocaine in a bin-bag

He was arrested immediately.

GARDAÍ IN COOLOCK are questioning an 18-year-old man after drugs worth €150,000 were found in a black bin-bag he was carrying.

The teenager was stopped by officers on Manor Drive in the north Dublin suburb at 7.35pm last evening.

According to a statement:

During the course of the search cocaine (subject to analysis) with an estimated street value of €150,000 was located in a black bag in his possession.

He was arrested immediately and taken to Coolock Garda Station for questioning under the Drug Trafficking Act.
