Cocaine and firearm seized at house in west Dublin

The drugs and gun were found as part of an ongoing investigation by Gardaí into drug-dealing in the area.

GARDAÍ HAVE SEIZED drugs worth an estimated €170,000 during a raid of a house in west Dublin.

A gun and ammunition were also found at the scene in Balgaddy.

The search was carried out as part of an ongoing investigation into drug dealing in the Ronanstown and Lucan areas of Dublin.

Gardaí found cocaine with an estimated street value of €150,000 and cannabis worth around €20,000 during the search of the house.

A 37-year-old man was arrested at the scene and is being detained at Ronanstown Garda Station.

Gardaí have said investigations into the case are ongoing.
