Dublin Bus is selling 67 of its double-decker buses

Last year the company added more than 100 new buses to the fleet.

DUBLIN BUS IS putting 67 of its older buses up for sale.

The company posted tendering documents earlier this week, inviting bids for the purchase of surplus vehicles in its fleet.

57 of the vehicles are Volvo double deck buses and the other 10 are Dennis double deck buses. The majority were registered in 2003.

Dublin Bus is accepting bids until 10 May this year and the buses will be available in September.

Last year the company added more than 100 new buses to the fleet. 80 of those were to replace older vehicles like those now on sale.
