Travel around Dublin city centre? A lot of changes have come into place

Many Dublin Bus services have been rerouted.

PEOPLE WHO TRAVEL around Dublin city centre will have some changes to get used to.

Traffic changes across the city centre came into place yesterday to facilitate the Luas Cross City Project.

There will be no left turn from Dawson Street to Nassau Street for the next six months and the section of Talbot Street from Lower Gardiner Street to Marlborough Street will be closed to through traffic for about six weeks.

Many Dublin Bus services have also been rerouted. Starting yesterday, the 51d Dublin Bus changed bus stop.

However, routes 49, 54a and 84x are remaining at bus stop 342 on College Street.

Here’s a map of the revised route:

There will also be some changes to Bus Éireann, Air Coach, Tour Buses, Collins Coaches and other bus services. Passengers are advised to check with their bus operator.
