Car and fire truck crash on Grand Canal Road in Dublin

The crash happened at Ranelagh Road just across from the Barge Pub.

GRAND CANAL ROAD in Dublin was closed in both directions after a collision between a car and a fire truck at the junction with Ranelagh Road.

A person is believed to have been cut out of the car following the incident.

The crash happened before 6pm this evening just across from the Barge Pub.

The road has now reopened.
