Crew injured after ambulance crashes into wall

DUBLIN FIRE BRIGADE crew members were injured after the ambulance they were travelling in hit a wall.

The incident occurred on Butterfield Avenue in Rathfarnham at 8.40am this morning.

A Dublin fire service spokesperson said that there were two ambulance staff on board, and minor injuries were sustained during the crash.

The two travelling in the ambulance were taken to hospital.

There were no patients on board the ambulance at the time.
