Dublin Fire Brigade said “seat belts prevent injuries”.

A GROUP OF motorists and shoppers had a lucky escape this morning when a car crashed through a shop window.

A Dublin Fire Brigade unit from Dolphin’s Barn was called out to the shop in Crumlin this morning after a 2004-registered Mercedes went through the laundrette window.

The service tweeted a picture of the scene, which showed the front door and windows of the business destroyed.

Luckily, nobody was injured.

Dublin Fire Brigade said “everyone walked away, no injuries. Seat belts prevent injuries”.
