Dublin among 'best cities' for drinking beer

Dublin has been named the number on of the best cities for drinking beer by Frommer’s travel guides.

DUBLIN HAS BEEN named one of the best cities in which to drink beer in by Frommers, along with the likes of Munich and Prague.

While noting the capitals high prices, the respected travel guide also points out that pubs and alehouses are always “full of happy patrons”.

Specialist suppliers the Guinness Storehouse, the Porterhouse and the Stag’s Head all get mentions.

The list included the 14 best places to drink ale, lager, stout, draught and pilsner.

Other cities that made the list included Munich, Amsterdam, Vienna and Brussels.
