Man dies suddenly in workplace incident at Dublin Port

Gardaí are investigating the death of the man.

GARDAÍ ARE INVESTIGATING the death of a man in Dublin Port this morning as a workplace incident.

The man in his 30s was pronounced dead at the Mater Hospital following an incident at Ocean Pier, Dublin Port.

Gardaí and emergency services were called to the scene at about 11.30am before the man was taken to hospital.

An examination of the scene was carried out by gardaí and enquiries are ongoing.

The Health and Safety Authority and the local coroner have also been notified.
